We received the news with great satisfaction that Professor Roman Słowiński was awarded the title of Fellow of the International Federation of Operations Research Societies (IFORS). The awarding of the title took place during the 23rd IFORS Conference, held in Santiago, Chile on July 10-14, 2023.
IFORS is an organization that has existed for 60 years and currently brings together over 50 national operations research societies. So far, 33 people have received the title of Fellow. Professor Roman Słowiński is the first Pole among the awarded!
