Professor Andrzej Skowron is a member of Academia Europaea

We were very happy to hear that a member of our research staff, Professor Andrzej Skowron, became a member of Academia Europaea in the Informatics section.

Academia Europaea is a non-governmental European association operating as an academy. It was established in 1988 and its goal is to promote education and science. It currently has approximately 5,000 members, outstanding scientists in their field. Among the members of Academia Europaea there are currently several dozen Nobel Prize winners. One can become a member of the Academy only by invitation and after passing a very demanding evaluation process.

Currently, 12 Poles are members of the Academy in the Informatics section, of which 4 are employed at our Institute.

Congratulations !
