It is with great pleasure that we have received the news of another distinction awarded to Professor Janusz Kacprzyk, who has been granted the title of Honorary Professor of the Tashkent State Technical University (TSTU) in Uzbekistan.
Professor Kacprzyk has been honored for his contribution to the development of automatic control, artificial intelligence, and systems research, as well as for his role in advancing scientific cooperation between Poland and Uzbekistan.
TSTU is one of the oldest universities in Central Asia. It has six faculties, fifty‑six departments, and approximately eleven thousand students..
