Between 1993 and 1996, I was involved in a project on studying computer awareness. Initially, this project was a collaboration with Draga Vidakovic. Later, Stanislaw Ubermanowicz joined me in it. The project moved away from studying attitudes toward computers toward a more general notion of computer awareness. We have developed an instrument that can be used by teachers teaching computer literacy courses to assess the instruction. The results have been summarized in the following papers (texts of papers should be treated as "technical reports" as they may slightly differ from the published version - which, in most cases, is the version copyrighted by the publisher and that version should be used in case of quotations):
"Between Stylistic and Statistics in a Test of Attitudes Toward Computers," (in Polish) with S. Ubermanowicz, Neodidagmata, XXII, 1996, 87-106
"Studying Computer Awareness," with S. Ubermanowicz, Technology and Teacher Education Annual, 1996, AACE, Charlottesville, VA, 1996, 841-846
