ABSTRACT

Glenda is a library of functions providing a message-passing interface for MIMD machines. Glenda uses a global tuple space model similar to that used by C-Linda by Scientific Computing Associates. The iPSC/860 version differs significantly from the original Glenda for networked workstations. Multiple tuple servers, a rewritten preprocessor, and a new buffering scheme are some of the most important changes.
