Intelligent Database Agents for Geospatial Knowledge Integration and Management

ABSTRACT

The aim of this seminar is to summarize the research project that has been recently funded by the NIMA (National Imaging and Maping Agency). This project is a collaborative efford between the CSS Department at USM and the EECS Department at Tulane University. The origin of the project, its main research direction and the projected outcomes will be summarized and discussed. Special attention will be paid to the performance issues.
