{"id":584,"date":"2025-06-25T11:32:26","date_gmt":"2025-06-25T09:32:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ibspan.waw.pl\/~explainme\/?p=584"},"modified":"2025-07-19T12:46:55","modified_gmt":"2025-07-19T10:46:55","slug":"explainme-at-the-in-the-international-conference-on-edemocracy-egovernment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ibspan.waw.pl\/~explainme\/index.php\/2025\/06\/25\/explainme-at-the-in-the-international-conference-on-edemocracy-egovernment\/","title":{"rendered":"Keynote Talk at the International Conference on eDemocracy &amp; eGovernment"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>In June Katarzyna Kaczmarek-Majer, our Principal Investigator, was invited to participate in the International Conference on eDemocracy &amp; eGovernment (ICEDEG) (<a href=\"https:\/\/www.edem-egov.org\/\">Welcome to International Conference on eDemocracy &amp; eGovernment (ICEDEG) | International Conference on eDemocracy &amp; eGovernment (ICEDEG)<\/a>)) hosted in the Institut Public Sector Transformation (IPST) in Bern, Switzerland. Engaging with the community that spans both AI and e-health\u2014and which align closely with my own research interests\u2014proved to be an invaluable and enriching experience. Although this was the 11th edition of the conference, the community it brought together was entirely new to us.<br><br>During her keynote talk, first, she summarized the key aspects of the Z-Inspection process (see <a href=\"https:\/\/z-inspection.org\/\">Z-Inspection \u2013 Z-Inspection: A holistic and analytic process to assess Ethical AI<\/a>), which is designed to assess trustworthiness at any stage of AI development, and is particularly valuable during the co-design phase. We are presently advancing through this proces to design the ExplainMe AI-based mental health monitoring system.. Next, we reviewed selected insights from its development, where fuzzy logic facilitates the generation of information granules consistent with human understanding.
