Award of Minister of Transport

Karol Opara, assistant in the Laboratory of Stochastic Methods, was presented an award of Minister of Transport, Construction and Maritime Economy for the best DSc, PhD, MSc and BSc theses prepared in 2011 in the field of TRANSPORT. The awarded MSc thesis was examined in Warsaw School of Economics and concerned the problem of “Road asset evaluation”. This issue answers the needs of Voivodship Road Authority in Katowice and combines knowledge from civil engineering, accounting and data analysis. Congratulations!
