ICANN 2005 Workshops
Full-day workshop will be held at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in
Torun, after the main conference on Thursday, September 15th. Transportation
by buses from Warsaw to Torun on Wednesday evening will be arranged.
For this extra day we plan to have separate volumes of the Springer
Studies in Computational Intelligence (possibly also Studies in
Fuzziness and Soft Computing or Advances in Soft Computing) focused on
a single topic (details will be fixed later with Janusz Kacprzyk, the
Editor-in-chief of those series); special issues of journals may also
be arranged by workshop organizers.
The 25 Euro registartion fee includes transportation, lunch and workshop publication costs.
Please contact the organizers of particular workshops directly if you want to participate
actively (for example by giving a short presentation) in a workshop.
Venue
We are looking forward to see you in Torun, a beautiful medieval town in central
Poland that is on the UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage list.

Plan
Wednesday evening
A bus (free of charge) will pick you up at the front of Gromada Airport Hotel in Warsaw and drop you at the hotel in Torun.
Thursday morning
Please come to the workshop, which will be held at the Faculty of Economic
Sciences and Management, in the city region called Bielany.
We recommend taking a taxi (around 10 PLN or 3 USD).
The workshop should start at 10:00 am.
Lunch will be provided for registered workshop participants around 1:00 pm
Thursday evening
At about 7 pm, we plan a get together in a rustic restaurant called
"Spichrz", near the city gates, at the "Mostowa Street".
For that reason we suggest to stay the second night in Torun and enjoy the
evening life there.
Travel back to Warsaw
The trains to Warsaw leave from Central Railway Station(Torun Glowny) at 5:56, 7:28, 11:24,
13:56 and 18:50. The journey takes about 3 hours. Direct buses leave from the
center of the town and take about 4 hours, going also to the Warsaw Central Railway
Station. We do not recommned them because they are slower. For connections to
