Scope:
The developments of two branches of Mathematics, Functional Analysis and Optimization Theory, have interacted, stimulating each other. The idea of the conference is to bring together experts from both fields in view of a fruitful exchange of ideas. The conference is dedicated to Professor Stefan Rolewicz in recognition of his contribution to both the fields and, in particular, to their reciprocal influence.

Contributions:
Invited lectures and contributed talks will be of 40 and 20 minutes respectively.
